Fernando “El Toro” Flores returns for co-main spot at Battle of Botnia 8

Featherweight veteran and fan favorite Fernando “El Toro” Flores will once again enter the cage in his hometown of Umeå.

At Battle of Botnia, on December 9, he will take one Aridane Romero Rodriguez in a featherweight co-main event.

With over 20 fights to his name, Flores is one of Sweden’s most seasoned pro veterans right now. He comes from a gruelling fight against Alexander Lööf at Fight Club Rush 15 in February.

Spanish featherweight Romero Rodriguez has a 8-2 pro record and comes from a loss against Nate Kelly at Centurion Fight Championship in July 2022.

Battle of Botnia 8 with Fernando Flores

Battle of Botnia 8 will take place on December 9 at Thorén Arena in Umeå. The card features a welterweight title bout where the promotion’s reigning champion Andreas Ståhl takes on Max Denner in his first title defense.

We will also see interesting amateur fights where Swedish National Team members like Astrid Vikgren and Emma Schiöler will clash with tough opponents.
