Swedish flyweight prospect Rohulla Yousofi wants a shot at Fight Club Rush gold.
In a recent post on social media, the flyweight makes a case for him for challenging newly crowned FCR champ Jonny Touma for the strap instead of Renato Vidovic.
“Everyone in Sweden knows who’s the king of the flyweights. I should be fighting for the belt in the next event because I’m the number one contender for the title,” Yousofi said on Instagram. “I did not get the chance to fight for the belt due to a unprofessional fighter, who calls himself the best in Sweden, missed weight and did not have his papers with him. And he got the chance to fight for the belt again. Unfair.” (Translated for Swedish by Frontkick)
Yousofi is one of the hottest flyweight prospects in Scandinavia with his three straight wins, two of them at Fight Club Rush.
In his last outing he defeated the tough Zoran Milic via unanimous decision at Fight Club Rush 16 in June. Yousofi turned pro back in 2020 and made his debut on FCR 7.
Fight Club Rush 18 will take place on Saturday November 25 at Västerås Arena in Västerås. So far, no fights except the title fight between Jonny Touma and Renato Vidovic are announced for the card.
