PFL Europe 1 results: Cornelia Holm wins gruelling debut!

PFL Europe 1, held in Newcastle, England, featured fights in the light heavyweight and women’s flyweight season and had two Swedish debutants on the card.

On the main card, Gothenburg’s Cornelia Holm faced Poland’s Marta Waliczek in a tough fight.

After three rounds of action, Holm stood as the winner via split decision win with 29-28, 28-29, 29-28 on the judges’ scorecards.

Malin Hermansson lost short-notice fight

In the flyweight co-main event, Malin ”The Herminator” Hermansson stepped in on short notice to face the tough and undefeated Dakota Ditcheva.

In the first round, Ditcheva found a rear-naked choke that forced Hermansson to tap. With the win, the British flyweight moves to 8-0 as a pro MMA fighter.
