STHLM Fight Night 2 just took place at a sold out Münchenbryggeriet in Stockholm!
The stacked event was headlined by a international fight between Sweden’s Emilia Koivisto and England’s Laura Cannon.
The first round started with a bit of a feeling out process but the fighters soon started to find the mark more and more. The Swede hit her opponent with a big knee to the midsection and a spinning backfist that forced the Brit to take a count.
Koivisto poured it on right from the start in round two, landing heavy punches at a cornered opponent. The Swede owned the round and landed flush combinations at will by the end of the round. Round three started better for Cannon who got more out of the round than the previous two.
After the final bell, Koivisto stood as the winner via unanimous decision with 3-0 on the scorecards.
Daniel Lejonstad wins Käftsmällspodden’s bonus
Daniel Lejonstad and Jonathan Höglund had the crowd on their toes as they delivered one of the best fights of the evening. Both went all out in a total war that surprisingly went the distance. In the end, Lejonstad stood as the winner via unanimous decision and won Käftsmällspodden’s 5000 SEK bonus.
The fight between Emil “Fucking” Näsman and Elliot Jarälv also delivered three actionpacked rounds where the fan favorite Näsman stood as the winner via unanimous decision (2-1) when the dust settled.
One of the most violent moments of the evening was Wittaya ”Fluck” Thaiwinphrai’s flush head kick that put Ali Mervash out cold.
