Undefeated Swedish pro boxer Robin Safar is set to fight former unified 175lbs champ Sergey Kovalev on the Fury vs Usyk undercard next month. The fight will take place at cruiserweight. That’s according to a report from ESPN.

Kovalev is a true veteran of the game and has held multiple light-heavyweight world championships, including the WBA and IBF titles from 2014 to 2016, and the WBO title three times between 2013 and 2019. In November 2019 he fought superstar Canelo Alvarez but lost via KO in the eleventh round.

Since then he only fought once, defeating Tervel Pulev via unanimous decision in May 2022.

Robin Safar has a pro record of 16-0 and defeated DeShon Webster in his last fight that took place at the Whitesands Events Center, Plant City, in April 2023.
