Swedish MMA organization Wolf Fight Promotion is looking forward to a busy 2023.
The promotion recently announced the schedule for their upcoming events, and even if no matchups are yet announced, it’s clear that Swedish MMA fans will get their fair share of fighting next year.
On March 25, the promotion will return to their hometown of Halmstad for WFP 6. Just two months later they intend to take over Jönköping on May 27 for the city’s first-ever MMA event.
After the summer, it’s time for another Halmstad event in WFP 8 on September 30 september. The promotion will then wrap up the year with WFP 9 in Kalmar on December 2.
“2023 will be a big year for us at WFP, and also for all you fighters out there,” WFP wrote on Instagram.
So far, the Swedish organization has arranged five events since its start in 2019.
Four of them took place in Halmstad, but in December they broke out of their hometown to break new ground in Kalmar with the city’s first-ever MMA event.
In October, Wolf Fight Promotion’s own David Jacobsson both promoted and headlined WFP 4 in Halmstad. He won the fight via a first-round submission.
