Bobby Green and Arman Tsarukyan allegedly in hotel altercation

Arman Tsarukyan is set to compete in the main event at UFC Austin while veteran Bobby “King” Green is slated to fight in the co-main event. That seemingly hasn’t stopped them from colliding at the fighter hotel.

Accoring to Green, thing got physical with a member of Tsarukyan team in the lobby of the fighter hotel. This was accompanied by a video showing hotel staff restraining Tsarukyan and members of his team.

“Hey, I don’t be starting nothing with nobody,” Green said. “But if you start that sh*t with me, I’m definitely going to finish it. This is just starting. N***a might go to jail tonight. Don’t f*ck around playing with me. This b*tch ass n***a ran up on me trying to start sh*t, and he didn’t know I was going to finish it. I stuck one of his homies. Stop playing with me. … They all ran up on me by myself, and they was acting all that tough. As soon as I ran into that n***a again with my n****s, then he was, ‘Oh, no. Oh, no. No. No.’ No, you started that sh*t. But as soon as security comes, you want to start acting tough again.”

While Tsarukyan or his team has yet to respond to the allegations, Greens management recently put out a statement regarding the incident.

“During a media interview earlier today, Iridium Sports Agency client Bobby Green was unprovokingly accosted and attacked by a member of Arman Tsarukyan’s team at the UFC host hotel. Bobby tried to avoid the conflict, but he was put in a position where he had to defend himself and his coach from the larger, aggressive group.”

Both slated for high profile fights

Tsarukyan will face top ranked Beneil Dariush in the main event at UFC Austin. Dariush sits at fourth place in the UFC lightweight rankings and has won seven out of his last eight fights, with the lone loss coming to former champ Charles Oliveira. Tsarukyan himself is ranked at eighth place in the rankings and could potentially break into the top five with a big win.

Green, on the other hand, is ranked at spot number 13 and faces twelfth-ranked Jailin Turner.  While Turner is coming off two straight losses, both were via razor-thin split decisions.
