Dangerous kickboxing rival of Adesanya and Pereira heads to DWCS

Kickboxer Yousri Belgaroui, one of the few fighters to have faced both UFC middleweight champs Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira, is set to fight on Dana White’s Contender Series this summer.

Belgaroui is 5-2 as a professional MMA fighter and has fought in light heavyweight. However, at DWCS on August 29, he will face Marco Tulio Silva in middleweight with a potential UFC contract on the line.

Yousri Belgaroui is a seasoned kickboxer

Yousri Belgaroui is a former three-time Glory Middleweight Championship challenger.

During his career he suffered a split decision to Adesanya in the tournament final back in 2016 and faced Pereira twice, losing both fights via stoppage.

He made his pro MMA debut in January 2021 and has back-to-back stoppage wins against in 2023.

His next opponent Silva is 9-1 as a professional fighter and enters the fight riding a five-fight winning streak.
