UFC featherweight Makwan “Mr. Finland” Amirkhani is set for a new fight.
At UFC 286 in London, he will welcome 27-year-old, former bantamweight, Jack Shore to the featherweight division.
Amirkhani is 1-4 in his last five bouts, with his only wins coming against Mike Grundy at UFC London last March. In his last fight in July, he was finished by Jonathan Pearce in the second round.
Shore left the bantamweight division after six fights. He lost his first professional fight last July, and holds an impressive record of 16-1.
UFC 286 will take place on March 18, 2023, at The O2 Arena in London, England. The card is headlined by a welterweight title fight between champion Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman. This will be the third time the rivals clash in the octagon.
The London card also features top ranked lightweights Jusin Gaethje and Rafael Fiziev, who will clash in a pivotal fight for the stacked lightweight division.
