The Nevada Athletic Commission recently selected veteran referee Marc Goddard to be in charge of the action in the UFC 279 main event between Khamzat Chimaev and Nate Diaz.
The judges of the highly anticipated welterweight bout will be Derek Cleary, Sal D’Amato, and Ron McCarthy.

Announced bouts for UFC 279
UFC 279 will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday September 10. Besides the highly anticipated main event, the card also features a welterweight fight between former interim ligthweight champion Tony Ferguson and the tough Li Jingliang.
