On Saturday, Full Send reporter Shawny Mack was at UFC 276 covering the event for the podcast. When he started interviewing Nate Diaz, the UFC star suddenly knocked the microphone from his hand, and slapped him in the head.
“Some of y’all forget I started out as a meme page. I knew what I was getting into when I signed up for it. Never been one to shy away from putting my opinion out there. My first weekend on the job and I got Stockton slapped. What a ride we’re on,” Mack wrote on Instagram.
Nate Diaz made his UFC debut back in 2007 and has one fight remaining on his contract. Lately, he has been rumored to fight top ranked lightweight Dusin Poirier as well as No. 3 ranked welterweight Khamzat Chimaev.
The 37-year-old is currently on a two fight losing skid, with losses against top ranked welterweights Jorge Masvidal and Leon Edwards. His last win came against Anthony Pettis at UFC 241 in August 2019.
