The highly anticipated UFC 292 just took place at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.

The card was headlined by a bantamweight title bout between Aljamain Sterling and UFC superstar Sean O’Malley.

In the second round, the challenger stepped backwards and landed a perfect right hand that dropped Sterling, and followed up with heavy ground-and-pound that eventually forced the referee to stop the fight.

“This was the most nervous I’ve been,” O’Malley said in the post-fight interview. “It only takes one mistake against me. I don’t know if that was a mistake, I’m just so fucking good.”

“This is just the beginning of the Sugar-era.”

Zhang Weili dominated Amanda Lemos

In the co-main event, the dominant strawweight champion Zhang Weili dominated Amanda Lemos over five rounds to win via unanimous decision with 50-43, 50-44 and 49-45 on the scorecards.

$50,000 post-fight bonuses

Three fighters took home an extra $50,000 at UFC 292.

The Fight of the Night bonus went to Brad Katona vs. Cody Gibson, while the Performance of the Night bonuses went to Sean O’Malley and Zhang Weili.
