UFC will hold it’s first-ever Saudi Arabia fight card in 2024

The world’s leading MMA promotion UFC will continue to cover new ground next year.

On Wednesday, the UFC announced that the promotion will visit Saudi Arabia for the first time ever on March 2, 2024. The event will most likely be called UFC Fight Night 236 and take place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.

No fighters booked for UFC Saudi Arabia

At the moment, there are no fights booked for the Saudi Arabia fight card. However, UFC president Dana White will announce fighters for the card in the coming months.

Working with Saudi Arabia has been a controversial topic for many sports leagues, but the country has lately been investing big time in sports like MMA, football, golf and Formula One racing. The massive boxing bout between heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and former UFC heavyweigth title holder Francis Ngannou will also take place in Saudi Arabia.
