UFC 292 goes down in Boston, Massachusetts on August 19th and was supposed to feature a high-stakes welterweight bout between Ian ”The Future” Machado Garry and Geoff Neal – but now Neil ”The Haitian Sensation” Magny has stepped up to replace the latter fighter.

It became clear yesterday that Neal had been forced out of the bout due to medical issues. With little time left ahead of next weekend’s massive event veteran Magny stepped up in a fashion that he has displayed several times.

Garry is currently riding a five fight winning streak in the UFC, which was capped off with a TKO win over Daniel Rodriguez in his latest outing.

Magny is a true veteran who has competed in the UFC for over ten years and has fought many of the best in the welterweight division. Magny most recently defeated Phil Rowe via a tightly contested split decision in his latest bout.
