Video: UFC superstar Ilia Topuria get swarmed by fans at crazy Georgia homecoming

Five weeks after defeating Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 298, UFC featherweight champion Ilia Topuria was swarmed by fans in Georgia as he continued to celebrate his championship.

Thousands of fans met Topuria at the Tbilisi International Airport to give him a homecoming for the books.

Ilia Topuria is a undefeated champ

Topuria was born in Germany and raised in his parents’ native Georgia, now he’s fighting out of Spain. The undefeated 27-year-old is the first UFC champ to represent Georgia and Spain.

Topuria has seven wins in the UFC, six of them coming via stoppage. On February 17 he knocked out Alexander Volkanovski in the second round to lay his hands on the featherweight title. At the moment there are no words on when or who he will fight next.
