Swedish middleweight Jack Hermansson put on a great perfomance when he outfought Chris Curtis in the co-main event of UFC London. ”The Joker” used good movement and outlanded his opponent with heavy kicks to win the fight via unanimous decision.

On the post-fight press conference, the No. 8 ranked middleweight named two fighters that he has his eyes on next.

”I’ve fought a lot of guys already inside those rankings, so somebody I haven’t fought. You’ve got Paulo Costa, Robert Whittaker, two names I haven’t fought,” Hermansson said.

Let’s take a look at possible future opponents for the Swede!

Paulo Costa

No. 5 ranked middleweight Paulo Costa would be a interesting matchup for ”The Joker”. The Brazilian is known for his heavy hands and great grappling, and a win against him would be a strong statement for Jack Hermansson.

Costa comes from losses against Israel Adesanya and Marvin Vettori, and is scheduled to fight Luke Rockhold on August 20.

Robert Whittaker

No. 1 ranked Robert ”Bobby Knuckles” Whittaker is a tough and well-rounded fighter with very few flaws. The fight would be a great opportunity for ”The Joker” to show that he deserves to fight for the middleweight title. However, Whittaker is scheduled to fight Marvin Vettori on September 3.

Derek Brunson

No. 4 ranked Derek Brunson lost his most recent outing against Jared Cannonier, and stated that his next bout will be his final in MMA.

Stylistically it would be a great fight between two skilled wrestlers. On the feet, Jack Hermansson might have the edge over the 38-year-old, but veteran Brunson tested himself against the very elite and proved to be a very tricky opponent for many.

Darren Till

Even tough Darren Till pulled out of two bouts, ”The Joker” has not closed the door on a rebooking against the Liverpool fighter.

“Of course that fight interests me,” Hermansson said at the post-fight presser at UFC London. “It’s a great fight. I think Darren is a great opponent and has a lot of fans. He’s a fan favorite. But it’s a little bit scary to book up against him a third time, you know? The third time is the charm, so maybe.”
