Mexican boxing superstar and pound-for-pound great Canelo Alvarez is set to defend his undisputed super middleweight titles against undisputed junior middleweight world champ Jermell Charlo. The fight will take place on Saturday September 30 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Charlo has jumped up two weight divisions to face Canelo in a highly interesting 12-round super-middleweight title bout.
Canelo became the undisputed super middleweight champion after beating Callum Smith, Billy Joe Saunders, and Caleb Plant in less than 11 months.
In the super welterweight co-main event, undefeated boxing prospect Jesus “Mono” Ramos Jr. will take on heavy-handed top contender Erickson “Hammer” Lubin in a 12-round bout.
We will also see former world champions Yordenis Ugas and Mario “El Azteca” Barrios clash for the Interim WBC welterweight title.
