Katie Taylor remains undefeated after ten tough rounds against Amanda Serrano at the Madison Square Garden. The fight was the biggest, and arguably one of the very best, in the history of women’s boxing.

The two champions left it all in the ring, living up to all expectations and more. In the end, two judges scored the fight 97-93 and 96-93 for Taylor, while the third judge gave 96-94 in favor for Serrano.

Katie Taylor: “Let’s do it again, Amanda”

After the hard fought win, tje undefeated Irish superstar opened up for a rematch. A rematch that every fight fan in the world would like to see.

“Let’s do it again, Amanda,” Taylor said to Serrano.

“What a fighter Amanda Serrano is. I think we’re both winners here tonight. Look what we’ve just done, selling out Madison Square Garden in the biggest fight in women’s boxing history. What a fight, what a win, what a night.”

“We put on a hell of a show”, Serrano answered. “Katie’s a great champion, she’s undefeated, she’s undisputed champion. I’m truly honored to share the ring with you.”

Swedish Elin Cederroos lost 10-round battle

After eight straight wins as pro, Swedish champion Elin Cederroos fell against Franchón Crews-Dezurn. The two fighters really gave it all over ten rounds, with both landing and receiving heavy shots, but in the end the judges scored the fight 99-91, 99-91 and 97-93 to Crews-Dezern.

With the win the American became the undisputed super middleweight champion. After the fight she called out Claressa Shields, who defeated Crews-Dezurn back in 2016.
