BKFC’s December card is looking to be a stacked one!
Along with three title fights, the promotion now announces a headline fight between two former UFC stars. Fan favorite Mike Perry will take on former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez in a main event bout at 175 pounds.
The card will take place at Maverik Center in Salt Lake City on December 2.
Undefeated in the promotion with three wins, “Platinum” Mike Perry has become one of the biggest names in bare knuckle fighting after his departure from the UFC back in 2021.
After defeating Julian Lane by unanimous decision in his promotional debut, he went on to secure another win in a tough fight against Bellator’s Michael Page at BKFC 27.
In his last outing Perry stopped former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold by second-round TKO.
“You had a little banger with Chad Mendes, but I’m definitely steps above that,” Perry said about the matchup with Alvarez.
The former UFC champion is happy about facing a fighter like Perry.
“I don’t see a single fight fan, whether you’re a boxing fan, MMA fan, bare-knuckle fan, who’s not going to watch this fight,” Alvarez said.
