YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul might face former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva next, according to YouTuber Keemstar, who is close to Paul.
The rumored bout between Paul and Silva bout will reportedly take place on a Showtime PPV on October 29.
Jake Paul, who’s undefeated with five wins, recently teased a big fight coming up in October.
“I trained for like three months straight, and so it’s a little bit annoying to not get any reward off of it. I guess the reward is how much better I got in the gym, working in silence, and you know now all that work is going to be unleashed in my next fight. But we’re looking at an October date and have a pretty big-name opponent that we’re excited about. So the offer is out and it’s looking like we’re going to be able to get a deal done,” Paul said at the TimboSugarShow.
After leaving MMA, Anderson “Spider” Silva has focused solely on boxing. The Brazilian holds a 3-1 professional boxing record with victories over big names like Tito Ortiz, Julio César Chávez Jr. and Julio Cesar De Jesus.
