Boxing superstar Ryan Garcia didn’t like the latest news concerning his recent positive drug tests.
Yesterday, lab results reportedly came back on Garcia’s B-sample collected for his superfight against Devin Haney a few weeks back. The sample reportedly showed that Garcia tested positive for the banned substance ostarine.
Garcia commented on the positive B-sample tests via a series of tweets that were later deleted.
Garcia’s opponent, Haney, who lost via majority decision, commente on the news on social media. His team has lobbied for Garcia to be disqualified retroactively.
“Ryan & his team knew he would test positive that’s why they did a bs “hair test” on their own which who really he knows if they did it,” Haney wrote on X.

The highly anticipated fight between Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney took place on April 20 at the Barclays Center in New York City. Garcia stood as the winner via majority decision with 114-110, 115-109, and 112-112 on the scorecards.
Garcia’s weight miss led to Haney’s WBC super lightweight title not being on the line.
