Manny Pacquiao aiming for return to boxing at the 2024 Olympics!

After two years of retirment, legendary professional boxer Manny Pacquiao might come back to the ring for one last challenge.

According to several reports, the legendary champion is finalizing an agreement to represent the Philippines at the 2024 Summer Olympics. However, there appears to be a problem as Pacquiao is 44 years of age and Olympic qualifying boxers have to be younger than 40 to participate.

Pacquiao, who has an amateur record of 60–4, will fight at either lightweight (63.5 kilo) or welterweight (71 kilo) if he’s allowed to compete in the Summer Olympics.

Manny Pacquiao is a historic boxer

Manny Pacquiao is the first boxer ever to win world titles in eight weight divisions. He’s won twelve major world titles and the first boxer to win the lineal championship in five different weight divisions.

Pacquiao is also the first boxer ever to become a four-decade world champion, as he won world titles across four decades (1990s, 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s).

”Pac Man” holds wins against the likes of Oscar De La Hoya, Adrien Broner and Timothy Bradley inside the ring.

The 2024 Summer Olympics will take place in Paris, France, between July 26 and August 11.
