Liam Pitts to defend AFN MMA title against Nordic champ

Rising MMA prospect Liam Pitts is set to defend his Allstars Fight Night championship belt at the upcoming AFN 5 event on March 9.

Liam Pitts, arguably the most promising amateur fighter in Sweden, has gone 5-0 in MMA thus far and finished his last three bouts. Now, the AFN amateur bantamweight title holder and former Swedish junior wrestling champion will face his toughest test to date as he’ll take on Nordic MMA champion Tufan Ahmadi from Finland.

Tufan Ahmadi won gold at the inaugural Nordic MMA championship in Gothenburg, Sweden last year and is also a national champ. Furthermore, he’s a six-time Finish champion and a three-time Nordic champ in wrestling.

As reported earlier, Allstars Fight Night recently announced another title fight too where 11-2 prospect Bernardo Sopai will defend the promotion’s professional bantamweight strap against Brazilian challenger Luiz ”Aranha” Silva.
