Swedish-Brazilian bantamweight Felipe Lima is booked for his UFC debut.
The Allstars prospect will step in on short notice to fight on the UFC on ABC: Whittaker vs. Aliskerov card in Saudi Arabia. He will face Muhammad Naimov in a featherweight contest, despite usually competing at bantamweight where he’s won regional MMA titles in both FCR and OKTAGON.
News of the bout was first reported by Marcel Dorff and subsequently verified by Frontkick’s sources.
Lima has won twelve fights in a row. Naimov, originally slated to take on Melsik Baghdasaryan, is riding a six-fight winning streak and is 3-0 in the UFC so far.

Felipe Lima drops OKTAGON MMA title to fight at UFC Saudi Arabia
Felipe Lima was scheduled to defend his OKTAGON MMA bantamweight title against rival Jonas Mågård on July 20. The two clashed last year in a fight that Lima won via a solid unanimous decision.
However, with Lima going to the UFC, he vacates the OKTAGON championship.
