Cage Warriors has a new unified featherweight champion and his name is Paul Hughes.

In the highly anticipated featherweight main event at Friday’s Cage Warriors 145, interim champion Paul Hughes faced champion Jordan Vucenic in a title unification fight in front of a wild London crowd at the Indigo at the O2.

After five tough and bloody rounds, where Hughes put on a flawless performance, he stood as the winner with 49-46, 50-43, and 49-43 on the judges’ scorecards, avenging his only pro loss to Vucenic back in 2020.

“UFC, I’m coming!” Hughes screamed as he celebrated the win.
