Yesterday, the Norwegian fighter Ivana Siric Petrovic wrote history when she defeated Alexandra Tekenah in the flyweight title bout at Ares FC.

Siric Petrovic finished the fight with a third-round submission to become the first-ever female champion in the French promotion’s history.

Ivana Siric Petrovic moves to 5-0 as a pro

With the dominant victory, she is still undefeated with a flawless record of five professional wins and no losses. The 28-year-old made her pro debut in July last year with a second-round TKO over Joanne Doyle.

The Norwegian fighter also defeated Alline Torquato with a first-round KO at FCR 10 in November last year, before she made her Ares FC debut in February 2022. Here she defeated both Dorota Norek and Marta Waliczek before she got her shot at the title.
