On Saturday January 27, OKTAGON MMA returns with their first card of 2024.

The event is headlined by a bantamweight bout between Danish former two-time OKTAGON champion Jonas “Shark” Mågård who will take on three-time Cage Warriors champion Jack Cartwright.

Mågård comes from a tough title fight loss to Swedish-Brazilian Felipe Lima in his last outing in July. Cartwright made his OKTAGON MMA debut in November with a first-round submission win against Júnior Assis.

The card also features a middleweight co-main event between Matej Penaz and Matthew Bonner. Penaz is undefeated in OKTAGON with his sole pro loss coming in Dana White’s Contender Series in 2022.

Former Cage Warriors fighter Bonner made his OKTAGON debut in style this past November as he defeated Cihad Akipa via unanimous decision.
