Darren Till is back in the win column.
His recent fight, against Moh Mutie on the main card of Saturday’s Social Knockout 3, marked Till’s first since he parted ways with UFC in early 2023.
“1st one done. Thanks for the support. Not the ending we wanted but some people aren’t real fighters. Next fight 4-8 weeks,” Till wrote in an Instagram story after the fight.
After fellow UFC veteran Nate Diaz defeated Jorge Masvidal on Saturday, Till hinted at a fight against Diaz next.
“Just thinking… Need a real boxing fight…,” Till wrote on Instagram.
Diaz, however, might have other plans. At the post-fight press conference he claimed to be looking for a rematch against either Jake Paul or UFC champion Leon Edwards.
“(Paul) was just off the top of my head that I would like to whip his ass,” Diaz told MMA Junkie and other reporters at a post-fight news conference. “I’d like to get a win against Leon Edwards, who is the best fighter in the world right now at 170.”
