Boxer Agnes Alexiusson will represent Sweden in the Olympic Games in Paris later this summer.
The last qualification took place in Thailand, and after a string of good performances she got the ticket to Paris. She will compete at 60 kilos in Paris.
”Just got back home to Sweden after securing my ticket to the Olympic Games in Paris. So grateful for all the love and support I’ve received along the way. For those who know me know this hasn’t been an easy journey, the job is not done now we refocus and reload for Paris,” Alexiusson wrote on social media.

Agnes Alexiusson competed in Tokyo
Alexiusson represented Sweden in the Summer Olympics in Tokyo back in 2021, but did not make it past the first fight. Now she aims to get better results in Paris.
“I visualize it and think forward. This is something I really want. I’ve been training for it since the last Olympics. I was so disappointed after Tokyo,” Alexiusson told Frontkick a while back.
Also representing Sweden in the 2024 Summer Olympics is flyweight boxer Nebil Ibrahim from Uppsala.
