PFL 6 results: Sadibou Sy scores highlight reel KO!

Swedish striking sensation Sadiboy Sy just returned to the PFL cage as he took on Shane Mitchell in a welterweight matchup. Mitchell did his best to press forward and land shots but regardless of if he was going forwards or backwards Sy was constantly landing effective shots. In the second round Sy discharged a barrage of shots, hurting Mitchell up against the cage.

In the third round Sy fired off the perfect spinning back kick to the head, viciously knocking Mitchell out and cementing a spot in the playoffs for ”The Swedish Denzel Washington”.

The main event would see Canadians Olivier Aubin-Mercier and Anthony Romero face off in an exciting lightweight bout. Romero landed a heavy strike early that seemed to rock ”OAM”, but nothing fight ending as his opponent remained calm and worked his way back into the fight.

Aubin-Mercier seemed to be more effective on the feet in the second round, though they would clash heads several times as they were dipping simultaneously. Aubin-Mercier continued landing early in the third and then lined up a perfect knee, finishing his countryman in brutal fashion.

Aside from that UFC veteran Shane Burgos scored a dominant, three round victory over Japanese prospect Yamato Nishikawa and Magomed Magomedkerimov finished UFC vet David Zawada via first round TKO.
