Exclusive interview with Swedish KO King Tobias Harila: ”I want a title shot”

Swedish KO King Tobias ”Bad Intention” Harila is set for his first Cage Warriors main event as he takes on James Hendin at Friday’s Cage Warriors 160 in Manchester.

The featherweight rivals were scheduled to fight back in July 2022, but Hendin was injured and pulled out of the fight, but now it’s finally time to settle the score between the two.

In an interview with Frontkick, the Swede shares his thoughts on the main event debut and dangerous opponent.

”It’s awesome. It feels so good, you know, I’ve worked hard for this and it’s not everyone who will be the main event in a show like this, so I’m grateful,” Harila says.

At 25 years of age, Germany’s James Hendin is already a Cage Warriors, with six wins in the promotion, and even though the Swedish KO artist admits it’s a tough fight, he claims he performs best under pressure.

”My opponent is definitely tough and I look forward to a crazy brawl, it feels like this fight is fifty-fifty and that’s when I’m at my best. I’m ready to work hard there.”

As Cage Warriors’ featherweight champion Paul Hughes is set to defend his strap against Jan Quaeyhaegens in October, ”Bad Intention” hopes to fight for the title next with a victory against Hendin.

”I definitely want a title fight if I win,” Harila says.
