AAAND NEEEW: Otto Wallin wins the WBA Inter-Continental heavyweight title!

Swedish heavyweight boxer Otto Wallin just clashed with Murat Gassiev in a WBA Inter-Continental heavyweight bout. Scheduled for 12 rounds, the fight took place at the Regnum Carya Hotel in Antalya, Turkey.

Both fighters gave their all during 12 rounds, leaving everything in the ring.

The fight went the distance and Wallin was declared the new WBA Inter-Continental heavyweight champion via decision.

Otto Wallin was confident ahead of the fight

Ahead of the title fight, the Swede was confident in his abilites, experience and size as a natural heavyweight.

“He was a good cruiserweight, but moving up, we’ll see. He struggled with Usyk, of course, lost that fight. He had some good wins over [Denis] Lebedev and other guys,” Wallin said.

”I think he’s a good fighter, but we’re gonna see. He’s fighting a real heavyweight now, somebody that’s gonna come to win, so I think things are gonna be a lot different.”
