Jake Paul goes Hollywood: Makes acting debut (!) in upcoming combat sports drama

YouTuber turned pro boxer Jake Paul will break new territory in his career.

”The Problem Child” is set to play his first acting role in an upcoming combat sports feature film.

“I’m thrilled to be partnering with Mandalay Pictures and Wonder Street on my first feature film project,” Paul said in a Tuesday press release. “Both companies have proven track records of producing high-quality content that resonates with audiences, and I couldn’t be more excited to work with such talented and experienced teams.”

Paul’s role is reportedly of a young fighter from a small town rising to the top of the sport. More information surrounding the movie project is expected to be revealed in the next few months.

Jake Paul returns to the ring in August

Jake Paul will return to the squared circle to face former UFC fighter and fan favorite Nate Diaz in a boxing bout in August.

The former YouTuber has a pro boxing record of 6-1, that includes wins against former UFC champions Tyron Woodley and Anderson Silva, as well as ONE champion Ben Askren.

His sole boxing defeat came against Tommy Fury a few months back.

Diaz left the UFC last year and the fight against the ”Problem Child” will be his first since he parted ways with the leading MMA promotion.
