A flyweight bout between No. 4 ranked Askar Askarov and No. 5 ranked Brandon Royval is set for a UFC event on October 15. The winner would make a strong case for a title fight next.

Askarov lost his last fight against Kai Kara-France via unanimous decision. His opponent Royval has two straight wins over Rogério Bontorin and Matt Schnell.

Mariya Agapova vs. Gillian Robertson

With Melissa Gatto out of the fight against Gillian Robertson, Mariya Agapova comes to the rescue. The flyweights will square off at a UFC event in Las Vegas on September 17.

The bantamweight bout between Cody Garbrandt and Rani Yahya has been rescheduled for October. The two were supposed to fight at UFC on ESPN 39 on July 9, but an injury forced Yahya to pull out.

Heavyweights Andrei Arlovski and Marcos Rogerio de Lima will square off at a UFC event on October 29.

43-year-old veteran Arlovski rides an impressive four-fight win streak, while de Lima comes from a decision loss to Blagoy Ivanov in May.

Steve Garcia vs. Chase Hooper

A featherweight bout between Steve Garcia and Chase Hooper is set for a UFC event on October 29.

Garcia comes from a KO-loss against Hayisaer Maheshate at UFC 275 in June, while Hooper defeated Felipe Colares via TKO in May.
