Mochamed ”The Beast” Machaev may only be 24 years old, but he fights with the confidence and experience if a seasoned veteran.
On June 8, he will take on the dangerous Spaniard Acoidan Duque in the quarter finals of the €1 million OKTAGON tournament.
”Me and my team prepared for everything. I’d prefer to keep the fight standing and give a big show to the Czech fans, but I’m ready wherever the fight goes,” Machaev tells Frontkick in an exclusive interview.
In the eight-finals he defeated UFC veteran Makwan Amirkhani, who was the most famous fighter in the tournament, and arguably one of the most experienced on the OKTAGON roster. However, ”Mr. Finland did not present any problems for the 24-year-old prospect.
”He was just an opponent like anyone else for me. It was a strong first match up but we are ready for anything.”

”I am grateful to fight in Oktagon I really appreciate the hospitality and the support from the Oktagon fans,” Machaev says.
As the tournament moves on, the opposition will get stiffer and stiffer. ”The Beast” doesn’t care who his facing next. If he gets his hand raised on June 8, he will face the winner of Ronald Paradiser vs. Daniel Torres in the semifinals.
