Submission specialist Moe Ahmadi gets it done in the first round!

Moe Ahmadi just clashed with Daniel Karlsson in a 80 kilo catchweight bout at FCR 17.

After trading shots from the start, Karlsson worked against the cage and landed a clean elbow, before taking the fight to the ground.

However, Moe got up and was able to secure a tight submission that forced Karlsson to tap.

”Get me there for a fight and I will finish it,” Ahmadi said after the win. ”My gameplan from the start, I know he was bigger and stronger, but they don’t know the power I have.”

Moe Ahmadi is 5-5 as a pro

With the victory, Ahmadi is 5-5 as a pro and is back in the win column after a loss against Patrik Pietilä at FCR 15 in February.

Now he wants to make a quick return for FCR 18 in November.

Karlsson is 2-2 as a pro and has now back-to-back losses.
