On April 19 2008, Georges St-Pierre won the UFC welterweight championship for the second time as he TKO’d Matt Serra. He then defended the belt no less than nine times, until he vacated the title after defeating Johny Hendricks via split decision.

Four years later, GSP came back as a middleweight and defeated then-champ Michael Bisping via submission, just to vacate the middleweight strap after holding the belt just 34 days.
