A featherweight interim title bout between Josh Emmett and Yair Rodriguez is booked UFC 284. The highly interesting fight, which will serve as the co-main event of the night, was just announced by the promotion.

No. 2 ranked Rodriguez comes from a win over Brian Ortega in June, while No 5. ranked Emmett rides a five-fight winning streak that includes Calvin Kattar, Dan Ige and Shane Burgos.
