Despite already having a bout planned at Fight Club Rush 16 Andreas “Bane” Gustafsson (8-1) will be pitted against German-Brazilian striker Joilton Lutterbach (37-10)! The fight will be contested at super welterweight in the co-main event of Brave CF 70 in the Slovenian capital city of Ljubljana on Sunday April 23rd.

Gustafsson has a solid wrestling background and has successfully represented the Swedish national team in MMA. After making his pro debut in January of 2019 Gustafsson amassed an impressive 6-1 record, with wins over the likes of Miro Jurkovic and the lone loss coming via a closely contested split decision against Olympic wrestler Damian Janikowski.

Following that loss Gustafsson took a break from MMA, returning after a two year hiatus to face Lukasz Dziudzia in the main event of FCR 14. Despite some early adversity Gustafsson won via second round TKO. “Bane” followed up with yet another second round TKO, this time over David Hosek in KSW.

Lutterbach has been competing professionally since 2011 and was a contestant in season three of The Ultimate Fighter Brazil who has won several titles in different European promotions such as FEN. He has also defeated the likes of Craig White and Alex Lohore – defeating the latter via first round TKO.

The German-Brazilian has also competed diligently in Muay Thai and Kickboxing with a two fight stint in PFL. Lutterbach enters the contest coming off three first round finishes.
