The stacked Fight Club Rush 14 delivered a bunch of highlight reel finishes from the prelims to the main event.
In the middleweight headliner, Swedish middleweight Andreas “Bane” Gustafsson returned to the cage to face the tough Polish fighter Lukasz Dziudzia.
After a two-year layoff, Gustafsson was eager to fight. Just seconds into the first round he dropped his opponent, however, Dziudzia bounced back, slamming the Swede to the ground. After a tough and competitive first round, the Swede finished the fight with heavy ground and pound.
“It feels so good. I was very nervous before the fight, because two years off is two years off,” Gustafsson said.”I got a tough start. He lifted me up to the lights. Every Polish guy is a strong motherfucker. I thought I was strong but they are strong.”
The Swedish fighter is now looking to be busy fighting next year.
“2023 is going to be a hectic year. In February we have KSW planned. Maybe four fights in KSW next year,” Gustafsson said.
