The Official Swedish MMA Rankings is the only ranking system focusing on Swedish MMA, with rankings for each pro division – as well as unique amateur’s pound-for-pound rankings.
Now it’s time to take a closer look at the light heavyweight and heavyweight rankings, the weight classes where Sweden has some of our absolute best international fighters.
At the top of the light heavyweight rankings we find MMA legend Alexander Gustafsson. 15 years into his professional career, “The Mauler” is still a big name in the world of fighting and the MMA ambassador of Sweden.
Holding the No. 2 spot on the list is Bellator’s “King” Karl Albrektsson, who is scheduled to compete at Bellator 290 in February. At No. 3 we find Gothenburg’s Anton Turkalj, who made his UFC debut last year.

Holding the No. 1 spot on the heavyweight rankings is Ilir Latifi, who defeated tricky veteran Aleksei Oleinik at a UFC event in October 2022.
At No. 2, we find the always entertaining Nermin Hajdarpasic, who stepped onto the international MMA scene at Oktagon 36 in October. The skilled boxer has one win and one defeat in 2022, and hopefully we’ll see him be back in action shortly.
Breaking into the rankings at No. 6 is Vincent Petersson, who recently made his professional debut in style, with a second-round TKO.
