Three Swedes competes in UAE Warriors this weekend

This weekend it’s time for three Swedish fighters to step into the UAE Warriors cage in Abu Dhabi.

UAE Warriors 36 with Josefine Knutsson

On Saturday’s UAE Warriors 36, undefeated strawweight prospect Josefine “Thunder” Knutsson is set for her toughest test to date, as she takes on the tough striker Jacinta Austin from Australia.

“For me, it’s like fighting against myself. The girl almost has the same background as me, so it’s a little bit like I’m actually fighting myself, “Knutsson told Frontkick a while back. “I know that whoever I have in front of me, I know what I’m capable of.”

The event takes place at the Ethiad Arena and is broadcasted by UFC Fight Pass, starting at 15:00 CET.

UAE Warriors 37 with Khaled Laallam and Jonny Touma

On Sunday’s UAE Warriors 37, Jonny Touma is set for a flyweight title boutas he takes on Nawras Abzakh in the co-main event.

“Honestly, I don’t see any threats anywhere, I’m a better grappler as well, so no real threats at all. If I fight like I should do, I will for sure win the title,” Touma told Frontkick a while back.

UAE Warriors 37 also features Khaled Laallam who will take on Karar Rahim Ali in a catchweight bout (194 lbs).

The event takes place at the Ethiad Arena and is broadcasted by UFC Fight Pass, starting at 15:00 CET.
