On Saturday August 5, undefeated Swedish pro boxer Costas Nanga will return to action to face Venezuela’s Melbyn Hernandez. The fight will take place in Spain and is the third outing of Nanga in 2023.

“La Cobra” Hernandez is a tough opponent, with a pro record of 7-5-2. As an amateur he won a World Championship bronze medal at the Youth World Championships in 2015.

In his last fight, Nanga took on Michal Loniewski from Poland in a light heavyweight bout in Malmö, Sweden.

The Polish pugilist’s corner stopped the fight between the first and second round, claiming Loniewski could not see out of his left eye, and Nanga was declared winner by TKO.

The undefeated Swede has relocated from Stockholm to Spain, and the fight in May was his first in Sweden since August last year.
