Swedish middleweight Jack “The Joker” Hermansson was supposed to face Darren Till on Saturday’s Fight Night Card in London. However, Till was forced to pull out of the bout and was replaced by Chris Curtis.
On the UFC media day “The Joker” opened up on Till cancelling the fight.
“I kind of anticipated it through the whole camp. I don’t know why. I just had a bad feeling about it,” Hermansson said. “The first time I wanted to fight him, he declined the fight. Second time he pulled from the fight. The third time he did not even announce the fight himself. Couldn’t see any sign of him fighting, and it just give me a bad feeling about it.”
Jack Hermansson on Chris Curtis: “He’s as good as it gets”
Jack Hermansson will still be fighting in the co-main event, but against Chris “The Actionman” Curtis. An opponent he has alot for respect for.
“Chris is a great opponent,” Hermansson said. “He has a lot of experience, a lot of fights, a lot of wins, heavy hands, won all his fights in the UFC, eight-fight win streak, so I think he’s as good as it gets.”
