UFC Vegas 73 just took place at the Apex in Las Vegas and was headlined by a strawweight main event between No. 8 ranked Mackenzie Dern and Angela Hill.

No. 8 ranked Dern completely dominated No. 14 ranked Hill over five rounds to win a crushing unanimous decision with 49-43, 49-44 and 49-44 on the scorecards.

After the fight she called out former two-time champion Rose Namajunas in her post-fight interview.

In the middleweight co main event, Anthony Hernandez stopped Edmen Shahbazyan with a third-round TKO after landing heavy ground-and-pound.

Ilir Latifi lost close split decision

In the prelims Swedish heavyweight Ilir Latifi took on Rodrigo Nascimento. After three even rounds, where the Swede finished strong the judges’ gave the win to Nascimento via a close split decision with 29-28, 28-29 and 29-28 on the scorecards.

The loss snapped Latifi’s two-fight winning streak.

$50,000 post-fight bonuses

The $50,000 Performance of the Night bonuses went to Viacheslav Borshchev and Diego Ferreira, while the $50,000 Fight of the Night bonus went to the strawweight main event between Dern and Hill.
