YouTuber turned pro boxer Jake Paul just clashed with fairly unknown pro boxer Andre August in an headline bout at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida.
August proved to be easy work for the “Problem Child” who took control of the fight from the start and landed a right uppercut that sent his opponent crashing to the canvas at 2:32 of Round 1.
August tried to get back to his feet, but could not make the 10-count.
The 26-year-old currently has a pro record of 8-1 with his only loss coming against Tommy Fury in February 2023. Now he intends to be active in 2024 to get more experience in the ring,
“More boxing prospects, more experience, more time in the ring, under the bright lights, staying active, and if the money fights want to come, I’ve got smoke for them too,” Paul said after the fight. “But right now, I’m focused on being the best in the world and creating one of the greatest sports stories in the history of sports.”
