Swedish fighting podcast Käftsmällspodden will leave the cooperation with local MMA organization Wolf Fight Promotion. The podcast would team up with the promotion with the ambition to take Swedish MMA to the next level, and stream the events for free on YouTube.

Talking to Frontkick, Käftsmällspodden founder Andres Viracca commented on the new situation.

“There will be no purchase of part ownership for me, I’m choosing not to invest in Wolf Fight Promotion. I had ambitious plans for Wolf but was not heard. Therefore, I choose not to be part of Wolf Fight Promotion,” Viracca said.

Viracca said he had a lot of plans for the cooperation, including raised wages for the fighters, but could not get them through.

“I had a main sponsor and other cool plans, but they seemed to have their own agenda” Viracca told Frontkick.

“There was no fuss or anything, but nothing really happened, that’s the problem, They are tougher than municipal procurement.”

The next WFP event will take place on December 2 at the SBB Arena in Kalmar. The event will be the promotions fifth in 2023.
