”Sugar” Sean O’Malley will fight Petr Yan at UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi. According to ESPN, O’Malley announced the fight during an interview with Ryan Clark.

Sean O’Malley will return from a no-contest against Pedro Munhoz

Sean O’Malley has a record of 7-1 in the UFC and comes off a no-contest against Pedro Munhoz at UFC 276. Before the fight with Munhoz, O’Malley had three straight stoppage wins against Thomas Almeida, Kris Moutinho and Raulian Paiva.

His opponent Petr ”No Mercy” Yan comes from a split decision loss to champion Aljamain Sterling at UFC 273 in April.

UFC 280 current fight card

The event will take place on October 22 in Abu Dhabi, and with the addition of O’Malley and Yan, the UFC 280 lineup is stacked to say the least.
