Spanish prospect Kevin Robledo is ready to make a statement in Sweden. When he steps into the cage against Sakhi “Machete” Qambari at Superior Challenge 29 in Stockholm, the fans can expect an explosive fight and a showcase of talent.

For Swedish MMA fans, the name Kevin Robledo might still be unfamiliar.

But in Spain, the 27-year-old has built a strong reputation as a promising fighter with knockout power and a complete skill set.

His breakout moment could come on November 29, when Robledo makes his Superior Challenge debut against one of Sweden’s most renowned fighters in Sakhi “Machete” Qambari.

With a professional record of 6-1, including five finishes, Robledo says his motivation has never been higher. Facing a local star on one of Scandinavia’s biggest stages is exactly the kind of challenge he’s been waiting for.

– I feel very motivated, Kevin Robledo tells Frontkick.

– I want to test myself against someone like him and I’m preparing to put on a great show.

Kevin Robledo: From football to fighting

Like many kids in Spain, Kevin Robledo first dreamed of a career in football. But as time passed, his passion faded and his father encouraged him to try boxing.

It was a decision that changed the course of his life.

– I was there for a while and saw an MMA class. It seemed interesting, so I decided to give it a try, and since then I haven’t stopped training.

Robledo says his biggest weapon isn’t just his technique, but his mindset. For him, fighting is as much about growth as it is about victory.

– What motivates me is to push my limits in every training session, learn new things and prove to myself that I can keep moving forward.

As he prepares for his first appearance on Swedish soil, Robledo promises fireworks for the crowd in Stockholm.

– It’s going to be a great fight, and a show for the fans. I’m going to give everything to come out victorious!
