Swedish MMA fighter Cornelia “Conny Future” Holm lost the PFL Europe semi finals via a tough knockout against the hyped and undefeated Dakota Ditcheva on September 30.
However, Holm still has a chance to avenge her loss, win the PFL Europe Championship title and life-changing $100,000 prize money, as she’s serving as a backup for the fight between Ditcheva and Valentina Scatizzi on December 8.
That’s according to Frontkick’s sources close to the situation.
Holm has a professional record of 6-6 with one win and one defeat in the PFL. In her first fight in the promotion she defeated Marta Waliczek via a razor thin split-decision, after putting on a gruelling performance.
Ditcheva is 9-0 with two wins over Swedish fighters in the PFL Europe 2023 tournament, as she defeated both Holm and Malin Hermansson.
Scatizzi, who’s facing the British fighter in the PFL finals, is an inexperienced pro MMA fighter with a 2-1 record to her name. She defeated Lizzy Gevers in her only fight in the PFL.
